Clive Wilkinson Architects was founded in Los Angeles in 1991, and is widely known for its creative projects across the globe. While the firm’s initial focus was designing creative workplaces, we have always retained a strong focus on residential architecture.

In 2016, we established a residential design studio which has completed bespoke homes for Los Angeles clients. It’s most adventurous project to date has been structuring a community collective rebuilding program for fire-damaged homeowners in the Sunset Mesa area of Malibu. By leveraging production home building and working with a top home builder, the firm has enabled many fire damaged homes to get rebuilt. Currently, we have 22 houses in various stages of construction in the neighborhood.

Over the years, the studio has won over 180 design awards. Its founder and Design Director, Clive Wilkinson, has been inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame, been named a Legend by Contract Magazine, and received the National Design Award from the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt Museum.
