Fuse specializes in environmental resilience, including fire-resilient design. We have extensive experience designing and building in Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) zones in accordance with applicable fire-resistant construction standards. Our Lehi Park Bathrooms project, designed to withstand fire, survived the 2020 CZU Lightning Complex Fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains intact — even the toilet paper inside was undamaged. Since then, we've built two additional bathrooms at the camp and are now rebuilding the entire camp using the same fire-resilient design principles.
