John Worthy is a USGBC–California Professional with certification in Wildfire Defense Construction. He brings both personal and professional experience to wildfire‑resilient design and fire‑rebuild projects. In 2017, his family lost their Ventura hillside home in the Thomas Fire. After navigating the difficult process of loss, insurance challenges, recovery, and rebuilding, they now reside in their dream home. This experience has profoundly shaped his perspective and strengthened his commitment to helping others, making him not only a more empathetic person, but also a more knowledgeable and dedicated architect.

Muller Worthy Architects has had the privilege of guiding more than ten families through the fire‑rebuild process, providing leadership, technical expertise, and compassionate support from recovery through reconstruction. With our combined personal and professional experience, we bring empathy, enthusiasm, and deep expertise to every project.
