Based in Napa, with a portfolio of residential, winery and hospitality projects throughout the West, Signum is well-versed in resilient design, has successfully guided projects through the design and approvals process in fire-prone regions, and has a deep well of knowledge of resilient materials and construction techniques. And while Passive House design is not a replacement for fire-safe design and construction, the overlap between energy-efficient, airtight design and fire-resilient design and construction methods is significant, and the benefits are universal.
